FERRIS PUBLIC LIBRARY: More than Books (April 27, 2023)

National Library Week, from April 23 to 29, allows us to promote our local libraries and their workers.

From “Anne of Green Gables” and “Harry Potter” to “Game of Thrones” and “Red Rising”, I’m sure we’ve all dashed to the library to borrow our favorite books.

Then comes studying and using online resources! Do you remember the feeling of getting a brand-new library card?

Celebrating libraries means celebrating silent reading, our communities, and family time. Library infrastructure advances communities, providing internet and technology access, literacy skills, and support for job seekers and entrepreneurs.

This National Library Week, look back on your love for reading and visit your local library.

2023 GENERAL AND SPECIAL ELECTIONS: Early Voting April 24-29 and May 1-2; Election Day May 6, 2023, here at the library.
