FERRIS PUBLIC LIBRARY: More than books (August 26, 2021)
The Special Election for State House of Representatives District 10 will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2021. On Election Day, you may vote here at the Ferris Public Library, 301 E. 10th Street, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Eight candidates will be on the ballot.
The Ferris Public Library will continue collaborating with the Ferris ISD to offer free E-book usage to any student who requests one. Have your child ask their school's Librarian for a Parental Permission Form. With the form completed, with a parent or caretaker's signature, please have your child return it, and the campus librarian will contact us with the information to issue a Stu-dent E-book card. You can choose from over 90,000 titles of E-books and audiobooks in children's age to high school young adults. You'll find an assortment of topics and fiction reads for all ages and interests.
With your current Ferris Public Library membership, our online E-book and audiobook ser-vice are available to you. You can download the Libby app and follow the prompts or call us for in-structions on getting started.
