WORD OF THE WEEK: “Rejuvenate” (rih-JOO-vuh-nayt) – to give new energy or vigor to; revitalize. Rejuvenate originated as a combination of the prefix re-, which means “again,” and the Latin juvenis, meaning “young.” To rejuvenate a person, parts of the body, etc., is to make them feel young, healthy, or energetic again. To rejuvenate something abstract, such as an economy or career, is to give it new strength or energy.
The library is located at 301 E. 10th St., across from Mutz Ballpark. Library staff may be reached at ferrislibrary@ferristexas.gov or (972) 544-2110, Option 9.
