FERRIS PUBLIC LIBRARY: More than Books (July 11, 2024)
Monday, July 15 will be our End of Summer Party!
Join us at 11 a.m. for our Foam Party. The foam solution is odorless, non-toxic, hypoallergenic and biodegradable.
It will make the kids feel a little warm and damp like soap and water, except they will NOT feel cold, wet, and heavy! It’s all the fun of a bath without the annoying clean up.
This is an outdoor event, so parents are encouraged to bring a lawn chair and towels.
Visit the library’s Facebook page to see pictures of all our activities so far, we have been having a fantastic time.
NEW BOOKS: “The Housemaid is Watching” by Freida McFadden, “A is for Amish” by Shelley Shepard Gray, “Resurrection” by Danielle Steel, and “It’s Not You: Identifying and Healing from Narcissistic People” (Dewey 155) by Ramani Durvasula.
JOKE OF THE WEEK: Question: Why did the cardiologist recommend that his patients go to the library? Answer: He heard they’re good for circulation.
The library is located at 301 E. 10th St., across from Mutz Ballpark. Library staff may be reached at ferrislibrary@ferristexas.gov or (972) 544-2110, Option 9.
