FERRIS PUBLIC LIBRARY: More than books (June 20, 2019)
The Ferris Public Library’s Summer Reading Club continues with a magic show filled with comedy and audience participation on Wednesday, June 26, at 11 a.m. Entertainment Alliance with Magician Westerman will be entertaining us with his “Leave ‘em Wanting More” show.
Craft Time for ages 11 and under is held every Thursday, at 11 a.m. The craft this week will have a patriot theme. The children will enjoy displaying their finished flags over the 4th of July holiday.
Children are turning in their Reading Logs daily; we have several excellent readers this year! As always, we encourage reading, especially during the summer break from school to help the children retain their reading skills. Local businesses have donated various items to motivate the kids to fill up their Reading Logs.
Teen Time, ages 12 – 17, is held each Friday at 2 p.m. Teens this week will be doing tie-dye and enjoying cookies, chips, and soft drinks.
