FERRIS PUBLIC LIBRARY: More than Books (June 30, 2022)
Put on your dancing shoes for our next performer, David McMahon, aka David Chicken on Tuesday, July 5 at 11 a.m.
He’s very funny (with a name like that he would have to be) and delivers a high-energy performance with loads of interaction with the kids.
David is a three-time Emmy Award winner. He promises a show filled with creative movement, educational messages, and in general a good time.
The library will be closed on Monday, July 4, to celebrate Independence Day. We will not have activity bags that week. We will be handing them out on Monday, July 11. Wishes for a safe and happy Fourth of July.
On Watch it Wednesday, for the younger kids, we will be showing Disney’s “Luca” on July 6 at 11 a.m.
Teen Time is held every Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Meeting Room.
We held our first raffle for all ages that have registered on Beanstack.
More raffles will be held for those who log their reading time and for new registered readers. It’s simple to register using the free app “Beanstack Tracker” from the App Store or Google Play or come by the library and we can help get you registered.
Once you have created an account log the minutes that you read, and you’ll automatically be entered into our prize raffles.
Be sure to add a good phone number and/or email so we can reach you if you’re one of our winners.
