Lucy Mae McDonald’s Annual Family Fiesta will be held on Friday, Oct. 11t, from 6 to 8 p.m. We hope you will visit the library’s informational booth. Not only will we have information available, but we’ll also have our spinner wheel where students can win prizes. I’m not sure where our booth will be but listen for the clamor of the wheel and delightful laughter of the kids.

The Ferris Public Library will be hosting a Free Adult Fall Craft Class on Saturday, Oct. 12, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The library will be supplying all the materials needed for the home décor project to the first ten people that arrive on time. You may call us to reserve your place in the class, but supplies are limited, so you will still need to be one of the first ten people.

After-School Game Time for ages 7 through 17, is held every Tuesday, from 3:30 – 5:30 p.m. Kids can play Wii and PS4 on the large screens, and for those that like the board games they can play them as well.

Story Time for pre-school children is on each Wednesday, at 11 a.m. Children will be treated to a story, fun activities, and have a snack. Before leaving, your child may choose a prize from the Treasure Chest.

New Books: “The Dark Side” by Danielle Steel, “Summerlings” by Lisa Howorth, “The Inn” by James Patterson, “The Brides of the Big Valley” by Wanda E.
