FERRIS PUBLIC LIBRARY: More than Books (October 24, 2024)
Early voting for the 2024 Ellis County General and Special Elections will take place on Thursday, Oct. 31 and Friday, Nov. 1 at the Ferris Public Library. Voting hours are from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Registered and eligible voters can cast their ballots at any early voting location within their county. The Ferris Public Library will also be a site for voting on Election day, Nov. 4, 2024, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
We had a great time at our Family Halloween Craft & Movie Time. If you missed the fun, don’t fret – come in costume on Thursday, Oct. 31 anytime from 3 to 5:30 p.m. for more crafts, spooky music, and of course treats. Once you leave the library, head on over to the Ferris Department of Public Safety Building located at 415 Ewing Blvd. for snow cones, popcorn, candy, face painting, bounce house and a best costume raffle from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.

STORY TIME is hosted every Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. Children are treated to stories, fun activities, and a snack. Before leaving, your child may choose a prize from the treasure chest to take home.
AFTER-SCHOOL GAME TIME is held each Thursday from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Children can play the PS5 on the large screen in the meeting room, board games are also available.
NEW BOOKS: “Love, Lies, and Cherry Pie” by Jackie Lau, “The League of Gentlewomen Witches” by India Holton, “An Eye for an Eye” by Jeffrey Archer, “Robert B. Parker's Buzz Kill” by Alison Gaylin, and “Bad Liar” by Tami Hoag.
