LOCAL STUDENT UPDATE: July 16, 2020

Harold Riley of Maypearl and Halle Law of Midlothian were named to the University of Alabama’s Deans List for the 2020 spring semester. Jessica Scheer of Midlothian and Alexandra Nehib of Waxahachie were named to the University of Alabama’s Presidents List. The UA Dean’s and President’s lists recognize full-time undergraduate students. The lists do not apply to graduate students or to undergraduate students who take less than a full course load.

Kayla Hill of Waxahachie was named to Howard Payne University’s President’s List for the 2020 spring semester. Jordan Bryant of Red Oak and Katherine Hughes of Waxahachie were named to Howard Payne University’s Honor Roll for the 2020 spring semester. Howard Payne University recognized 255 students for academic success during the spring 2020 semester. Students must earn a 4.0 grade point average to be named to the President’s List, and a 3.65-3.99 grade point average to be named to the Honor Roll.
