LOCAL STUDENT UPDATE: July 4, 2024

Jared Pierce from Midlothian was named to the University of West Alabama’s Spring 2024 Dean’s List.

Zachary Cox from Ferris was named to the Dean’s List at Rochester Institute of Technology for the spring semester of the 2023-2024 academic year.

Kalien Thomas from Waxahachie was named to the Mississippi State University spring 2024 Dean’s List.

Molly Gilbert from Waxahachie was named to the Dean’s List for Spring 2024 at Washburn University.

Trevor Atwell and Elizabeth Schmidt from Midlothian, Abbi Melton from Ovilla, and Kathryn Hammonds of Waxahachie were named to the Dean’s List at the University of Arkansas.

Local students graduating from Midwestern State University include: Brittany Thomas from Ennis; Angela Evans, Alexis King-Brightmon and  Sherrie Ross from Glenn Heights; Luis Argente, Luke Craddock and Guy Rourk from Midlothian; and Brian Galbraith, Addison McCarther, Baranda Woods and Johnnie Woods from Waxahachie.

James Hobbs of Waxahachie was recently initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi at Arkansas State University.
