KENNETH GOVAN RECEIVES SPARK OF GIVING AWARD

Kenneth Govan, known by many in the area from his work with Oncor, recently received the “Spark of Giving” award from the Society of St. Vincent de Paul North Texas for his inspiring support for the St. Vincent Center in Lancaster’s Neighborhoods of Hope program.

Govan received the award last month during a Spark of Hope breakfast hosted by the society.

The Spark of Hope award was inaugurated last year to honor individuals or foundations who significantly support one of the organizations core programs.

“I am truly humbled and grateful by this recognition as well as the opportunity of being able to be part of the contribution to the worthwhile and needed resources being offered by the Neighborhood of Hope  and the Society of St. Vincent de Paul in our community,” Govan said after being recognized.
