In accordance with Chapter 211 of the Texas Local Government Code and Section 1.06.068(4) of the Wilmer Code of Ordinances, the Planning & Zoning Commission and the City Council of the City of Wilmer, Texas will hold public hearings to reconsider a request for zoning/rezoning in accordance with Zoning Ordinance (Ord. No. 12.6.88) rezone property in the City of Wilmer currently zoned Single-Family 1 (SF-1) to Planned Development (PD) for residential uses on all those certain parcels totaling approximately 77.8247-acres being more fully described as a 12.4152-acre tract in a Special Warranty Deed with Reservation of Enhanced Life Estate (Lady Bird Deed) to Lawrence Landrum and Elizabeth Landrum Scarborough recorded in Instrument No. 201300152572, OPRDCT, City of Wilmer ETJ, Dallas County, Texas and all those certain parcels of land located in the City of Wilmer, said tracts being further described as a 24-acre tract of land referenced in the Deed to Henry L. Landrum recorded in Volume 92247, Page 1475, and further described in Volume 4311, Page 260, Deed Records, Dallas County, Texas (DRDCT), and being all of a called 1-acre tract of land described in the Special Warranty Deed With Reservation Of Enhanced Life Estate (Lady Bird Deed) to Lawrence Landrum and Elizabeth Landrum Scarborough recorded in Instrument No. 20130015271, Official Public Records, Dallas County, Texas (OPRDCT) and being all of a called 33.993-acre Tract I and all of a called 6.914-acre tract of land described as Tract II in the Warranty Deed with Vendor’s Lien to Pedro Guerro recorded in Volume 20011252, Page 11374, Deed Records, Dallas County, Texas (DRDCT), City of Wilmer, Dallas County, Texas. The first public hearing on this annexation request will be held before the Wilmer Planning and Zoning Commission on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at 7:00 p.m.
A second public hearing, and possible consideration/action, on this zoning request will be held before the Wilmer City Council on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at 7:00 p.m.
