PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION and CITY COUNCIL, City of Ferris, Texas
In accordance with Chapter 211 of the Texas Local Government Code, the Planning & Zoning Commission and the City Council of the City of Ferris, Texas will hold a joint public hearing to consider a rezoning request initiated by Salah Alrousan & Ali Assi/Ferris Gateway LLC to rezone a 2.081-acre property from the Commercial Neighborhood Retail District (C-N) to Corridor Commercial (C-C) in order to develop the property as an Auto Service Station & Retail uses.
The subject property is generally located on the East line of Farm to Market Road 983 and directly south of Farm to Market Road 664, within the City of Ferris, Ellis County, Texas and further described as a 2.081-acre tract within the Mason Phelps Survey, Abstract No. 824, and being a portion of ECAD Property ID #188768.
The joint public hearing, and possible consideration/action, on this rezoning request will be held before the Ferris Planning & Zoning Commission and the City Council on Monday, March 21st, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. in the Ferris City Council Chambers, located at 215 W. Sixth Street in Ferris, Texas 75125.
All persons interested in the proposed rezoning request are invited to attend the public hearing and to provide their comments at that time.
