NOTICE OF INTENT TO SELL

The City of Ferris is accepting letters of intent to bid for the sale of real property. Letters of intent are to be addressed to the Chief Financial Officer. Qualified bidders will receive a bid packet outlining the scope of sale, specifications, minimum qualifications, expectations, and bid sheets.  

Potential bidders may find a description of the property and a list of minimum qualifications on the City of Ferris website (www.ferristexas.gov).  

Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud shortly after the specified time for delivery.  Bidders are invited to attend the sealed bid meeting. 

PROPERTY DESCRIPTION: Water and Sewer System Infrastructure AND Service Obligations for City of Ferris residential and commercial accounts.

DUE DATE/TIME: Letter of Intent: 2:00 p.m., October 19, 2023 Bids: 2:00 p.m., November 4, 2023

The City of Ferris reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in bids received deemed to be in the best interest of the City.  

No officer or employee of the City of Ferris shall have a financial interest, directly or indirectly, in any contract with the City of Ferris.  

Potential bidders should include in the Letter of Intent whether the bidder is a licensed operator in the State of Texas to operate said system and qualifications to operate said system.  

The City of Ferris may consider other criteria in addition to Texas licensing requirements for said utility system.
