NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN TO ALL INTERESTED PERSONS THAT: The City of Pecan Hill, Texas proposes to institute annexation proceedings on the request of Jacob Johnson to enlarge and extend the boundary limits of the City of Pecan Hill in include the following described territory, to wit: Being a 15.92 acre tract of land, more or less, out of and being part of the S. Billingsley Survey, Abstract No. 78, and being part of a tract to William E. Forston as recorded in Volume 726, Page 712, of the Deed Records of Ellis County, Texas, also referred to as Property ID 180162 in the records of the Ellis County Appraisal District.

A public hearing will be held by and before the City Council of the City of Pecan Hill, Texas, on July 18th, 2023, at 7:00 p.m., Pecan Hill City Hall, 1094 S. Lowrance, Pecan Hill, Texas 75154, for all persons interested in the above proposed annexation. At said time and place all such persons shall have the opportunity to be heard. After the public hearing, the City Council may take action on whether to adopt an ordinance annexing the area. By order of the Pecan Hill City Council on the 7th day of July 2023.
