CITY COUNCIL
City of Wilmer, Texas
In accordance with Chapter 211 of the Texas Local Government Code, the City Council of the City of Wilmer, Texas will hold a public hearing to consider a zoning request initiated by the City of Wilmer to establish Planned Development–General Comercial-2 (PD-C2) as the appropriate zoning classification for a 5.0± acre property that is generally located at the southeast corner of N. Goode Road and Distribution Drive (legal description: Tracts 9.4, 13, 13.1 and 8 in the C.A. Warfield Survey, Abstract No. 1613, Page 085, in the City of Wilmer, Dallas County, Texas). The subject property is owned by the City of Wilmer, and is planned to be developed as a new fire station and other civic/governmental uses.
The public hearing, and possible consideration/action, on this zoning request will be held before the Wilmer City Council on Thursday, September 5, 2019 at 7:00 p.m.
The public hearing will be held in the regular meeting place, the City of Wilmer Community Center, located at 101 Davidson Plaza in Wilmer, Texas.
All persons interested in the proposed zoning request are invited to attend the public hearing and to provide their comments at that time. Comments may also be submitted in writing (or via fax or email) to the City at least 24 hours prior to the beginning of each public hearing at the following address:
