NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
CITY OF OVILLA
CITY COUNCIL
The City Council of the City of Ovilla, Texas will hold a public hearing and meeting on the following date:
Monday, October 28th, 2024 at 6:00 p.m.
City Council
Both the public hearing and meeting will be held at the Ovilla City Hall, Council Chamber Room, 105 S. Cockrell Hill Road, Ovilla, Texas 75154, for the purpose of obtaining public comment regarding the following request:
Case No. PZ 24-04:
A request for a change in zoning filed by Ms. Kristi Chovanetz-Rambin, authorized agent on behalf of Mr. Raymond Chovanetz, owner of said property, from R-E, one-acre minimum Single Family Residential to CG, General Commercial, 8,000 square foot minimum, on a 0.6040 acre tract of land out of the 693 J MCNAMARA 0.604 ACRES, Property ID 187630, Map ID 02, Ellis County, Texas and being more commonly known as 3419 Ovilla Road, Ovilla, Texas 75154.
The Ovilla City Council will consider and act on the change in zoning request of this property
having received a final report and recommendation from the Planning and Zoning Commission,
pursuant to Section 211.007 of the Texas Local Government Code.
All interested parties are invited to attend and share comments. Written comments will also be
