NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE FY2025 ELLIS COUNTY BUDGET

The Ellis County Commissioners’ Court will hold a public hearing on the Proposed FY2025 Budget on September 10th, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the Historic Ellis County Courthouse, Commissioners’ Courtroom (2nd floor), 101 W. Main Street, Waxahachie, Texas. 

As proposed, this budget will raise more total property taxes than last year’s budget by an amount of $7,503,860.00 which is a 8.79 percent increase, and of that amount $3,621,114.00 is tax revenue to be raised from new property added to the tax roll this year.
