PUBLIC NOTICE: NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF FERRIS, TEXAS NOVEMBER 15, 2021

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is hereby given that the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Ferris, Texas will hold a public hearing at a meeting that begins at 6:00 p.m. on November 15, 2021 at 215 W 6th, Ferris, Texas 75125.

Further notice is given that a second public hearing is scheduled where the request and the recommendation of the Planning and Zoning Commission will be considered by the Ferris City Council at a meeting that begins at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, November 15, 2021 at 215 W 6th, Ferris, Texas 75125.

The Planning and Zoning Commission and City Council will consider the following ordinance amendment: Conduct a Public Hearing and consider adoption of an ordinance amending section 154.060 “Non-Conforming Uses” of Chapter 154, “Zoning,” of the Code of Ordinances, City of Ferris, Texas, the same being known as the Zoning Ordinance, specifically amending section 154.060, “Non-Conforming Uses” and by adding a new section, Section 154.061 “Non-Conforming Use Regulations”, for the purpose of implementing technical corrections, and to amend certain land use provisions and requirements to reflect the goals and objectives established by the City of Ferris.

Citizens are invited to attend and participate in these public hearings, and the Planning and Zoning Commission and City Council may continue a public hearing from one meeting to another.
