NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

CITY COUNCIL

CITY OF OVILLA, TEXAS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public meeting will be held by the City Council of the City of Ovilla, Texas, on Monday, September 11, 2023, at 6:30 p.m. at 105 S. Cockrell Hill Road, Ovilla, Texas 75154 to consider and act on adopting ordinances for subdivision requirements regarding streets or roads and drainage.

This notice is being published in accordance with the requirements set forth in H.B. No. 3699, which provides the City may, after notice is published in the newspaper, adopt by ordinance subdivision requirements, including (a) specifications relating to the construction of each street or road based on the amount and kind of travel over each street in a subdivision and (b) specifications to provide adequate drainage for each street or road in a subdivision in accordance with standard engineering practices.
