PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION and CITY COUNCIL
City of Ferris, Texas
In accordance with Chapter 211 of the Texas Local Government Code, the Planning & Zoning Commission and the City Council of the City of Ferris, Texas will hold a joint public hearing to consider a rezoning request initiated by Tom Wood and Ferris Partners L. P. to rezone a 20.2464 property from Commercial Neighborhood District (C) to Planned Development District - 21 (“PD-21”) in order to develop the property as a “multi-family” community.
The subject property is generally located along the east property line of Ferris High School, and extending 1174± feet along the north side of F.M. 660, within the City of Ferris, Ellis County, Texas and further described as a 20.2464 acre tract within the Mason Phelps Survey, Abstract No. 824, and being a portion of ECAD Property #188922.
The joint public hearing, and possible consideration/action, on this rezoning request will be held before the Ferris Planning & Zoning Commission and the City Council on Monday, June 21, 2021 at 6:00 p.m.
The joint public hearing will be held in the regular meeting place, the Ferris Council Chambers, located at 215 W. Sixth Street in Ferris, Texas 75125.
All persons interested in the proposed rezoning request are invited to attend the public hearing and to provide their comments at that time.
