Aggravated robbery at Ennis Buc-ee’s ends in Dallas

ENNIS – An unnamed 28-year-old female from Ennis was robbed of her purse and other belongings at around 8:11 a.m. on June 5 at the Buc-ee’s in Ennis, according to police.

Ennis Police said the woman was robbed by four males; one adult and three juveniles, from Oklahoma.

A Facebook post from the Ennis PD stated, “Officers quickly gathered information about the suspects and the white Ford pickup truck they fled in and shared it with other agencies.”

The victim was also helpful to the police in that she had an electronic signal that pinpointed the location of the suspects who had robbed her of her purse and belongings.

Ennis Police were then able to alert other agencies involved of the electronic signal’s location.

“Due to the quick response of Ferris and Wilmer Police officers, they were able to locate the vehicle.

“A pursuit ensued and ended in Dallas,” Ennis Police said.

All four suspects whose names were not revealed were arrested and are in custody.

Ennis Police expressed thanks to the surrounding agencies for their response, which led to the apprehension of the offenders.
