CEREMONIES FOR THE JERRY WATSON MEMORIAL PARK SET FOR MARCH 3

FERRIS – Dedication ceremonies for the new Jerry Watson Memorial Park will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 3 at Shaw Creek Park.

Watson passed away Feb. 26, 2021, and was an officer at Commercial State Bank in Ferris.

According to his obituary, “Jerry was a staple in the Ferris community and worked tirelessly for the businesses and organizations and school district in Ferris to serve their needs.

“He was an integral part of developments, the chamber of commerce, Mentors Care and the broader banking community.”
