WAXAHACHIE CHRISTMAS PARADE AND TREE LIGHTING
Tuesday, Dec. 3, 6 to 9 p.m. • Downtown Waxahachie • Activities begin at 6 p.m. • Parade at 6:30 p.m.
Enjoy the lighted Christmas parade culminating with the community tree lighting at Railyard Park. There will also be activities for families to enjoy downtown including DJ Alexx, letters to Santa, face painting and photos with Santa at Railyard Park for $5.

OVILLA ANNUAL CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING

There will be hot chocolate and cider and Christmas cookies and a musician performing live Christmas music.
HOLIDAY FESTIVITIES IN ENNIS
Thursday, Dec. 5, 5 to 9 p.m. • Ennis Welcome Center, 201 NW Main
The block party begins at 5 p.m. with the Christmas Bluebonnet Market, food trucks, Dasher and Dancer, FREE children’s crafts, Model train display and at 5:30 p.m. a performance by Ennis Jr High Band Ensemble and photos with Santa Claus.
At 6 p.m. more performances from strolling carolers with the Ennis Choral Department, Avant Garde performance.
At 7 p.m. the Christmas Parade of Lights, and at 7:45 p.m. the Christmas is GO Dance.
Festivities abound until Dec. 31, including an Elf Seek & Find and Holiday Carriage Rides.

Cookies with Mrs. Claus on Dec. 7 from 10 a.m. to noon, a Toys for Tots Christmas Toy Drive on Dec. 9 from 5 to 9 p.m. and on Dec. 20 from 6 to 8 p.m. a Grinch Movie Night and Holiday Fun in historic downtown Ennis.

WILMER ANNUAL GINGERBREAD-THEMED CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING CEREMONY

This year’s holiday season is Gingerbread theme offering a fun-filled, family-friendly event free for everyone to enjoy.
The event will the Tree Lighting ceremony as well as photos with Santa, food trucks, warm treats, and snacks, free coffee and hot chocolate, holiday vendors, and plenty of gingerbread-inspired fun and festive surprises.
GLENN HEIGHTS ANNUAL CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING AND HOLIDAY CELEBRATION

Immediately following the All-Abilities Park grand opening will be the Annual Christmas Tree Lighting and Holiday Celebration.
This festive event will feature a Santa Meet & Greet, with special photo opportunities with Santa Claus; free toys for children to take home; a Letters to Santa station where kids can write their holiday wishes; free hot chocolate & coffee; and a variety of Food and Craft Vendors offering seasonal treats and unique gifts; a fun-filled Kids Zone with games and activities; and a festive Train Ride through the holiday displays, the holiday magic will be on full display. Also, don’t miss the dazzling Drone Light Show, lighting up the night sky.

Saturday, Dec. 7, 3 to 8 p.m. • 100 Town Plaza, Ferris
The tree lighting will be at 6 p.m. followed by the parade of lights at 6:30 p.m. There will also be Santa, ice skating, shopping, food, live performances and a fireworks show at 7:15.
The RFR Leadership Foundation team will also be set up to collect toys from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Feliz Navidad event directly next to the Carter BloodCare bus where there will be a mobile blood drive.

There is also a toy drop box for RFR at the Ferris ISD administration building, the City of Ferris lobby, Rodriguez pottery, Steam Solutions, and Bundle of Love Flower Shop.
Other drop off locations are Baylor Medical Clinic in Red Oak, Texas Cryoworks in Waxahachie, The Joint in Waxahachie, and The Joint in Seagoville.
