City of Ferris dedicates Marty Steinfeldt Public Safety Building

FERRIS – On Friday, June 21, the City of Ferris held a dedication ribbon cutting and remembrance of Patrolman Harry Marvin (Marty) Steinfeldt III in a ceremony for the Marty Steinfeldt Public Safety building at 415 Ewing Blvd.

Family members and many police officers from several area police departments were in attendance. 

Ferris Patrolman Steinfeld was shot and killed on Oct. 6, 2002 while responding to a fight at a gas station at Fifth Street and I-45.
