EARLINE JACKSON RECOGNIZED FOR SERVICE ON FERRIS HOUSING AUTHORITY

FERRIS – Long-time Ferris resident Earline Jackson was recently recognized for her 10-years of service on the Ferris Housing Authority board of Commissioners.
She has served as the Vice Chairperson and the Chair, and has been a longtime supporter of affordable housing within Ellis county. She was instrumental in getting the first donated computers for the Martin Luther King, Jr. Recreational Center for the computer lab from Shalom.
Mrs. Jackson was the first African-American female to serve on the City Council in Ferris, and continues to be active in her community and church.
