Ennis PD respond to shots fired Sunday

ENNIS – The Ennis Police Department responded to shots fired Sunday morning at locations including the 900 block of S. McKinney Street and on Tonya Lynn.

According to Ennis PD, there were no known victims associated with the gunfire.

Police acknowledged the incident “is believed to be a dispute between two parties” and confirmed there was “no danger to the general public at this time.”

Police requested those in the area of the gunfire be aware of their surroundings and check for any damage to vehicles or homes due to the gunfire.

Ennis Police also issued a request to anyone who might have security camera footage that captured the gunfire or dispute between 4 and 5:30 a.m. Sunday morning.
