Ennis Police warn residents of vehicle burglaries

ENNIS – The Ennis Police Department is asking residents to be aware of vehicle break-ins in the city.

According to Ennis PD, multiple incidents of vehicle break-ins aimed at stealing vehicles or valuables have recently been reported.

Police also noted, “An interesting observation is that the targeted vehicles are mostly Hyundai’s or Kia’s. If you are a proud owner of any of these vehicles, it’s important to ensure that you lock the doors of your vehicle and keep all valuable belongings inside. If possible, park your vehicle in a well-lit area, a secured portion of your property, or your garage.”
