Red Oak FFA hosts car show
RED OAK – On Saturday April 22, the Red Oak High School FFA Club held a fund-raising car show at the Red Oak Middle School parking lot.
The club was expecting 30-40 cars to register, but when registration ended around 10 a.m. Saturday morning, the club had registered more than 70 cars and trucks.
The car show had something for everyone too. Early classic muscle cars were in abundance, but many late model muscle cars were there as well.
Several classic roadsters from the 30s and 40s were also in attendance.
A local DJ played music while food trucks kept the crowd fed.
The club also raffled off several prizes, and trophies for a variety of classes were awarded around 1:30 p.m. with the event ending around 2 p.m.
