Red Oak Police investigating early-morning shooting
RED OAK – Red Oak Police officers were dispatched to a vehicle parked in front of a residence in the 600 block of Cherry Hills Road on Sept. 29 at 4:26 a.m. The reporting person called 9-1-1 and advised a subject had shot her and that the subject had fled the scene.
Officers along with Red Oak Fire Rescue personnel provided medical assistance to a female victim and a male victim.
The 60-year old female victim of Red Oak and a 60-year old male victim of Lancaster were both transported by Allegiance Ambulance service to Methodist Central Hospital for multiple gunshot wounds and are currently in stable condition.
The victim provided information identifying a possible suspect known to her.
The offense remains under investigation. There is no ongoing threat to the community regarding this incident.
The Red Oak Police Department Criminal Investigation Division is attempting to identify the suspect(s).
