Search continues for 21-year-old male
ELLIS COUNTY – A missing person investigation was opened last week in Ellis County on Tuesday, Nov. 26.
Ellis County Sheriff’s Department opened the investigation for Jose Amador after the Ellis County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch center received a call from Amador’s family indicating he had been missing since the early morning hours on that same day.
In a press release the Sheriff’s Department stated, “Jose doesn’t drive and could be on foot or have received a ride from someone.”
Amador, 21, is 5’8” and weighs 140 pounds. He has brown eyes and black hair with a buzz style haircut.
He was reported missing from Spring Circle in Red Oak and was last seen wearing a gray hoodie, light blue pants, and black Adidas shoes.
He has two identifiable scars, a cut above his right eye and one in the center of his forehead.
He left a note for his family indicating he was going to Mexico.
“His family states his mental capacity is that of a 10-year-old,” the release read “but he has never been officially diagnosed with a disability.”
