TIM LAUGHLIN: Who saw this temple in its former glory? (part 9)
“You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” – Acts 1:8
Jesus built a new temple with twelve stones, making disciples out of common everyday people and after three and a half years of training was about to fill them with His Holy Spirit. A new paradigm shift in the design of the temple, no longer a place to go but a Person to be, the expression of Jesus Christ in the earth indwelling human bodies.
A natural earthly temple was about to be transformed into a new supernatural body of believers, filled with the Spirit of the living God. From eons of a dead ritualistic religion in a temple made of stone to a supernatural temple of living stones, the church of Jesus Christ was about to explode upon the earth. From 120 sold out Spirit filled, on fire disciples, in a matter of hours would grow into thousands of new converts as Peter preached the gospel with His new anointing from God.
Waiting on the promise of God’s Holy Spirit the disciples were all in one place in one accord when the sound of the winds of Heaven filled the house.
If we as believers will come together and repent of division and denomination and pray, God will do it again and fill us just as He did in the beginning.
“And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance.” – Acts 2:4
