COMMISSION and CITY COUNCIL
City of Wilmer, Texas
In accordance with Chapter 211 of the Texas Local Government Code, the Planning & Zoning Commission and the City Council of the City of Wilmer, Texas will hold public hearings to consider a zoning request initiated by Tri Gaz, Inc. (represented by Zak Kassem) to amend the current General Commercial (C2) zoning on the property by adding a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) for a Travel Center on a 4.1± acre property that is generally located at the northwest corner of Interstate Highway and Belt Line Road (legal description: Tract 3 and a portion of Tract 2 in the C.A. Warfield Survey, Abstract No. 1612, Page 065, and also Tract 17 in the A.K. Gray Survey, Abstract No. 505, Page 155, in the City of Wilmer, Dallas County, Texas).
The first public hearing, and possible consideration/action, on this zoning request will be held before the Wilmer Planning & Zoning Commission on Thursday, February 13, 2020 at 7:00 p.m.
A second public hearing, and possible consideration/action, on this zoning request will be held before the Wilmer City Council on Thursday, February 20, 2020 at 7:00 p.m.
Both public hearings will be held in the regular meeting place, the City of Wilmer Community Center, located at 101 Davidson Plaza in Wilmer, Texas.
All persons interested in the proposed zoning request are invited to attend one or both of the public hearings and to provide their comments at that time. Comments may also be submitted in writing (or via fax or email) to the City at least 24 hours prior to the beginning of each public hearing at the following address:
