OBITUARY: C.J. O’CONNOR
C.J. O’Connor, age 29, of Red Oak, passed away June 21, 2020. He was born July 19, 1990 in Dallas, Texas to Timothy James, Sr. and Sherry A. (Fails) O’Connor.
C.J. was a lifelong resident of Red Oak, Texas. He graduated Red Oak High School in 2008. He received his personal training certification and was a hardworking, dedicated personal trainer to many people in the Ellis County area. He trained at Anytime Fitness in Red Oak and Patriot Strength and Fitness in Midlothian. He also enjoyed boxing and powerlifting, in which he held a past State title. He will also be remembered for his Christian themed tattoos and body art.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Kenny Michael Findley.
He is survived by his loving parents: Timothy James, Sr. and Sherry A. O’Connor, of Red Oak; dedicated and longtime girlfriend Kortney McGaughy of Red Oak; siblings: Timothy J., Jr. and wife Pamela O’Connor, Christine and husband Al Farrar of Hawaii, Deeana and husband Randy Richards of Fairfield, Connecticut, Jason Mary Ann O’Connor of Vermont, J.J and wife Katherine of Frisco, Daniel Swift of Dallas and Sara Swift of Las Vegas, Nevada; grandmother Marie Fails of Desoto and loving canine companions: Kimdog, Jameson, Cali, Kilo and Mocha.
Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 27, 2020 at Covenant Church: 959 FM 664 (Ovilla Rd) Ferris, Texas. Pastor Michael Masek Officiating.
