FERRIS PUBLIC LIBRARY: More than books (July 9, 2020)
The Ferris Public Library’s Virtual Summer Reading Club continues with Magician Daniel Lusk performing his show, “The Magic of Imagination.” Go to the Library’s Facebook page for the link. Mr. Lusk lives in Indianapolis, Indiana, and is cleverly amusing and entertaining.
On Mondays beginning July 13, we’ll be hosting Magic Mondays! A new magical trick by Magician Daniel will be posted for your kids to learn every Monday.
We will be submitting your questions to Critterman and will announce when his “Answers to Ferris’ Questions” video becomes available.
Don’t forget to become a Fan of the Ferris Public Library on Facebook. If you do, you’ll receive notifications as we post events.
Every Tuesday, you can visit the Ferris Public Library and pick up a free Grab & Go Activity Bag that has a craft and projects for your youngsters to do at home. The Grab & Go Bags have included activities for animals, dragons, magic, science, and more to come!
The Ferris Public Library’s new hours are Monday – Thursday, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.; closed Friday – Sunday. We have new safety protocols to keep everyone healthy. A COVID-19 Prescreening form must be filled out by every visitor, a temperature check, face coverings required, hands sanitized or washed, and observe a 6-foot distancing guideline. A minor inconvenience but well worth it for our citizens’ safety. We are cleaning computers after each use and disinfecting common areas, and door handles often. The City has facilities professionally sprayed with virus disinfectant weekly.
