PUBLIC NOTICE: CITY OF FERRIS PLANNING & ZONING AND CITY COUNCIL JOINT PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER A ZONING REQUEST INITIATED BY PRIMARY MEDIA TO AMEND THE SPECIAL USE PERMIT MONDAY, OCTOBER 19, 2020

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE PLANNING & ZONING 

COMMISSION and CITY COUNCIL

City of Ferris, Texas

 

In accordance with Chapter 211 of the Texas Local Government Code, the Planning & Zoning Commission and the City Council of the City of Ferris, Texas will hold a joint public hearing to consider a zoning request initiated by Primary Media to amend the Special Use Permit (SUP) Ordinance No. O-16-810 (adopted on February 1, 2016) in order to modify stipulations associated with the existing billboard on the property.

The subject property is generally located at the southwest corner of IH-45 and E. 8th Street, within the City of Ferris, Texas and also within Ellis County, Texas (legal description: Lot 1, Block A of the Martin Primary Media Addition, ECAD #188811).

The joint public hearing, and possible consideration/action, on this zoning request will be held before the Ferris Planning & Zoning Commission and the City Council on Monday, October 19, 2020 at 6:00 p.m.

The joint public hearing will be held in the regular meeting place, the Ferris Council Chambers, located at 215 W. Sixth Street in Ferris, Texas 75125.

All persons interested in the proposed zoning request are invited to attend the public hearing and to provide their comments at that time. Comments may also be submitted in writing (or via fax or email) to the City at least 24 hours prior to the beginning of the joint public hearing at the following address:
