OBITUARY: KERRIE LYNN GOWIN

Kerrie Lynn Gowin was born on Oct. 5, 1968, and passed away peacefully on Oct.5, 2020. She was the daughter of late Howard Jay Patterson and Peggy Darlene Compton.

Kerrie worked in the service industry all of her life and loved making people smile. She had a heart bigger than most and loved everyone she met. The love she had for her family surpassed any love she had on earth. She will forever be remembered as the most amazing MiMi to her grandkids. Kerrie’s personality would light up a room everywhere she went. She will be missed by so many.

Kerrie is survived by her husband, Robert Gowin; daughters, Lacy McCarty and Annie Garcia; sons, Jameson, Justin, Chris and Eddie Gowin; brother, Bryan Abbott;  sisters, Kristie Patterson and Brandy Childress; 10 grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

Her memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. at Boze Mitchell McKibbin Funeral Home in Ennis, TX on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2020, with Pastor Jeff Pressler officiating.
