NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Wilmer, Texas (the “City”) will meet at its regular meeting via teleconference in compliance with an advisory issued by the Office of the Governor) at 7:00 p.m. on the 5th day of November, 2020, which is the time and place tentatively set to hold a public hearing to consider continuing the Juvenile Curfew Ordinance No. 94-0804 originally adopted on August 4, 1994 pursuant to Texas Local Government Code 370.002, Article 8.07.002(a), Juvenile Curfew, of the Code of Ordinances for the passage of an ordinance and such other action as may be deemed necessary.
Important Notice Regarding Public Participation at Public Meetings: Due to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) public health emergency, and in an effort to reduce face-to-face contact, Governor Greg Abbott has granted a temporary suspension of certain provisions of the Texas Open Meetings Act. While preserving government transparency and maintaining government operations, City Council Meetings will be conducted by teleconference.
