Commercial State Bank’s Jerry Watson passes away suddenly February 24, 2021
Ferris Citizens & Community -
Today is a sad day for the Ferris Family and the entire surrounding community. Our friend, Jerry Watson of Commercial State Bank, has passed away. Jerry was a staple in the Ferris community and worked tirelessly for the businesses and organizations and school district in our community to serve their needs. He was an integral part of developments, the Chamber of Commerce, Mentors Care and the broader banking community.
The City of Ferris and Ferris Chamber of Commerce will be working together to announce a benefit in honor and remembrance of this great man. More details will be made available in the coming days. During this difficult time, our thoughts and prayers are with the Watson family, the Commercial State Bank family, and all the friends and those who knew Jerry. May he rest in eternal peace.
Services were held on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Bose Mitchell McKibbin Funeral Home in Waxahachie, TX (511 W Main Street, Waxahachie, TX 76165) at 11:00 am.

“Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.” – Thessalonians 4:13-14
