City of Wilmer, Texas
In accordance with Chapter 43.0672 of the Texas Local Government Code, the City Council of the City of Wilmer, Texas will hold a public hearing to consider a petition for voluntary annexation of a certain parcel described as a 12.4088-acre tract of land situated in the Charles A. Warfield Survey, Abstract No. 1612 and the Jeff Weatherford Survey, Abstract No.1536, Dallas County, Texas; said tract being further described in a Special Warranty Deed with Reservation of Enhanced Life Estate (Lady Bird Deed) to Lawrence Landrum and Elizabeth Landrum Scarborough recorded in Instrument No. 201300152572, OPRDCT, City of Wilmer ETJ, Dallas County, Texas. Case No. A-21-02
The public hearing, and possible consideration/action, on this annexation request will be held before the Wilmer City Council on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at 7:00 p.m.
Important Notice Regarding Public Participation at Public Meetings: The City will implement 6-foot social distancing for those in attendance. The City reserves the right to take temperatures of those wanting to attend and recommend attendees wear face masks, subject to the Attorney General Order GA-034. The City reserves the right to deny public access to the meeting for the safety of its citizens, elected officials, and staff.
