PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION and CITY COUNCIL
City of Ferris, Texas
In accordance with Chapter 211 of the Texas Local Government Code, the Planning & Zoning Commission and the City Council of the City of Ferris, Texas will hold a joint public hearing to consider a Final Residential Replat request initiated by Richard Moreno and Jeremy Masterson to replat Lots 6, 7, 8, and 9, Block A of Western Hills No 1 Addition into Lots 6R, 7R, and 8R of the Western Hills No. 1 Addition on property zoned Planned Development District (PD) for single-family uses.
The subject property is generally located on the West side of Rolling Hills Drive, approximately 380± feet South of Ferris Road, and 472± North of Farm to Market Road 664, within the City of Ferris, Ellis County, Texas (legal description: a 3.9208 tract within the Mason Phelps Survey, Abstract No. 824, and being a portion of ECAD Property #199535).
The joint public hearing, and possible consideration/action, on this rezoning request will be held before the Ferris Planning & Zoning Commission and the City Council on Monday, June 21, 2021 at 6:00 p.m.
The joint public hearing will be held in the regular meeting place, the Ferris Council Chambers, located at 215 W. Sixth Street in Ferris, Texas 75125.
All persons interested in the proposed rezoning request are invited to attend the public hearing and to provide their comments at that time. Comments may also be submitted in writing (or via fax or email) to the City at least 24 hours prior to the beginning of the joint public hearing at the following address:
