PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION AND CITY COUNCIL

City of Wilmer, Texas

 

In accordance with Chapter 211 of the Texas Local Government Code, the Planning & Zoning Commission and the City Council of the City of Wilmer, Texas will hold public hearings to consider a request for concurrent zoning of six tracts (totaling approximately 64.844 acres) upon  annexation in accordance with Zoning Ordinance (Ord. No. 12.6.88) Section 7.C. “Concurrent Rezoning and Annexation” to rezone the subject property from Single-Family (SF-1) to Light Industrial (I-1) District.  Generally located on the southeast corner of Beltline Rd. and Sunrise Blvd.

The subject property being a tract of land situated in the Major W. Spencer Survey, Abstract No. 1287, Dallas County, Texas and being a portion of that called 9.997 acre tract of land described in the Special Warranty Deed to Sunrise 60 LLC, recorded in Instrument No. 2020000040629, Official Public Records, Dallas County, Texas; all of that called 10.011 acre tract of land described in the Special Warranty Deed to Sunrise 60 LLC, recorded in Instrument No. 201900307532, Official Public Records, Dallas County, Texas; all of that called 15.000 acre tract described as “Tract 1” and all of that called 15.002 acre tract described as “Tract 2” in the Special Warranty Deed to Sunrise 60 LLC, recorded in Instrument No. 201900343290, Official Public Records, Dallas County, Texas; all of that called 10.201 acre tract of land described in the Special Warranty Deed to Sunrise 60 LLC, recorded in Instrument No. 2020002400316, Official Public Records, Dallas County, Texas; and a portion of that called 10.000 acre tract of land described in the Special Warranty Deed to Sunrise 60 LLC, recorded in Instrument No. 201900338824, Official Public Records, Dallas County, Texas. Case No. ZC-21-11

The first public hearing on this zoning request will be held before the Wilmer Planning and Zoning Commission on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at 7:00 p.m.

A second public hearing, and possible consideration/action, on this zoning request will be held before the Wilmer City Council on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at 7:00 p.m.
