PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION AND CITY COUNCIL

City of Wilmer, Texas

In accordance with Chapter 211 of the Texas Local Government Code, the Planning & Zoning Commission and the City Council of the City of Wilmer, Texas will hold public hearings to consider a request for concurrent zoning of two tracts upon  annexation in accordance with Zoning Ordinance (Ord. No. 12.6.88) Section 7.C. “Concurrent Rezoning and Annexation” to rezone the subject property from Single-Family (SF-1) to Commercial (C-2) District.

The subject property being described as a 2.836-acre portion out of two certain tracts of land which total approximately 10-acres situated in the Major W. Spencer Survey, Abstract No. 1287, Page 795; Tracts 14 and 14.1 being described as a 4.000 and 6.000 acre tracts of land as recorded in a deed to Sunrise 60 LLC, recorded in Instrument No. 202000040629 of the Deed Records of Dallas County, Texas, City of Wilmer ETJ, Dallas County, Texas. Case No. ZC-21-10

The first public hearing on this zoning request will be held before the Wilmer Planning and Zoning Commission on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at 7:00 p.m.

A second public hearing, and possible consideration/action, on this zoning request will be held before the Wilmer City Council on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at 7:00 p.m.
