PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION AND CITY COUNCIL

City of Wilmer, Texas

In accordance with Chapter 211 of the Texas Local Government Code, the Planning & Zoning Commission and the City Council of the City of Wilmer, Texas will hold public hearings to consider a request for a zoning change in accordance with Zoning Ordinance (Ord. No. 12.6.88) to rezone the subject property from Single-Family (SF-1) to Light Industrial (I-1) District.  Generally located north of Beltline Rd. and approximately 1,200 feet east of Sunrise Rd.

The subject property being a 27.095 acre tract of land situated in the John Chapman Survey, Abstract Number 379, in Dallas County, Texas, and being part of a 49 .624 acre tract of land described in warranty deed with vendor’s lien to Allan B. Curlee and Glenn R. Howell, Trustees, as recorded in Volume 73078, Page 126 of the Deed Records o1’ Dallas County, Texas (D.R.D.C.T.), City of Wilmer, Dallas County, Texas. Case No. ZC-21-12.

The first public hearing on this zoning request will be held before the Wilmer Planning and Zoning Commission on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at 7:00 p.m.

A second public hearing, and possible consideration/action, on this zoning request will be held before the Wilmer City Council on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at 7:00 p.m.
