FERRIS PUBLIC LIBRARY: More than books (February 17, 2022)
The Ferris Public Library’s Annual Black History Month contest has books flying off the shelves!
Each time you, or your child, check out a book about Black History or written by an African American author during the month of February, your name will be placed in the contest drawing.
The lucky winners will receive a Walmart gift card. The drawing will be held on March 1.
Stacey has set up an extraordinary display of Black History books, making selecting books to check out a breeze. The library has a large selection of books for all ages. We also have a variety of free coloring sheets that children can take home to color.
Also, on Tuesday, March 1, 2022, Ellis County Election Department will be holding the Joint Primary Election here at the library from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. We have a list of early voting locations. Please feel free to call the library at (972) 544-3696 or come by to get a copy of local early voting centers.
