OBITUARY: Elva Feltus

Elva Feltus, 68, passed away in Houston, Texas on Saturday, Feb. 19, 2022. Elva was born on Feb. 9, 1954 to Louis and Antonia (Cabello) Guerrero. She grew up in Sinton and later moved to Ennis. On March 25, 1999 she married Rodney Feltus, and they made their home in Houston.

Elva retired from Texas Children’s Hospital after 27 years. She enjoyed working in the yard, baking and spend time with her active great grandson.

She is survived by her daughter, Tracie Marie Franco; son Sonny Joe Franco; granddaughter Brianna Marie Franco; great grandson Calum Sorto and husband, Rodney Feltus, along with numerous nieces, nephews, family, mother-in-law, two brother-in-laws and one sister-in-law and friends.

She is also survived by five loving sisters and two caring brothers: Oralia Hernandez, Lupe Santos and husband Richard, Olga Maldonado and husband Johnny, Tina Castillo and Melinda Maldonado, Felimon Guerrero and wife Mary, Abel Guerrero and wife Alicia.

Elva was preceded in death by her sisters: Leonar Chavez, Aralia Cantu, Ninfa Carrillo and Dominga Zuniga. Brothers: Leonard, Alvino and Anselmo Guerrero Special Brother in laws: John Castillo and Abelino Guerrero
