PUBLIC NOTICE: ADVERTISEMENT AND INVITATION FOR BIDS FOR THE CITY OF FERRIS FIRE STATION DEVELOPMENT – INTERIOR FINISH

Publish two times in The Ellis County Press on Thursday, Feb. 16, 2023, and Thursday, Feb. 23, 2023.

Advertisement and Invitation for Bids

The City of Ferris will receive sealed bids for the City of Ferris Fire Station Development – Interior Finish until 10:30 AM on Thursday, March 9, 2023 at Ferris ISD Administration, 301 E. 5th Street, Ferris, TX 75125. The bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud.

  Bid/Contract Documents, including Drawings and Technical Specifications, are on file and may be viewed for the purpose of preparing bids at the following location:

Copies of the Bid/Contract Documents may be obtained from the ENGINEER by payment of $150 plus sales tax for each set of documents so obtained. NO REFUNDS. Copies of the Bid/Contract Documents may also be obtained in electronic format (PDF) on a thumb drive for $20 plus sales tax per drive. NO REFUNDS. Payment can be made by cash or check at time of pick-up.

  A Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid issued by an acceptable surety is required and shall be submitted with each bid. A certified check or bank draft payable to City of Ferris may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond.

  The City of Ferris reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding.
