REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
for Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) Services
New Construction of Wilmer Police
Department and Public Works Building
This notice is a Request for Proposals (RFP) for Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) Services for the new construction of Wilmer Police Department and Public Works Building. The complete RFP is available from the City’s website at the following link: www.cityofwilmer.net/bid.

All correspondence must include the following reference: “RFP: CMAR Services – New Construction of Wilmer Police Department and Public Works Building”.
The project consists of three buildings on the site located at the intersection of N. Goode Rd. and Distribution Dr. and is divided into two phases.
Phase 1 includes a 16,420 SF police building with dispatch, offices, patrol and training rooms, locker room, evidence processing and storage, jail, and sally port. Building construction will be a combination of stick frame and CMU block. The dispatch and associated spaces will be constructed to FEMA P-361 storm rating. Most of the site work will also happen in this phase. This includes the employee secured parking, public parking, walkway canopy, and general grading.
Phase 2 includes a 9,669 SF main building and a 5,200 SF covered vehicle storage building. The main building includes a training room, locker rooms, workshops, and an enclosed vehicle storage area.
To receive consideration: Provide four (4) printed copies of the proposal in an envelope that is sealed and labeled “RFP – CMAR Services – New Construction of Wilmer Police Department and Public Works Building”.
The deadline for submittal and receipt is on or before Friday, April 28th at 2 p.m.
At that time, all responses will be opened and have their names read aloud in the City Hall Conference Room located at 128 N. Dallas Avenue, Wilmer, Texas 75172.
