The miracles of Jesus (part 20)

“A prophet is not without honor except in his own country and in his own house.”Matthew 13:57

Being a hopeless drug addict and an alcoholic one day and transformed into a new creation the next I was a pariah.

Born again and set free from drugs, I was a brand-new man – although I wasn’t sure what had happened to me.

The first miracle was my language was cleansed, and it took me a while to learn how to talk without all the adjectives.

As I grasped my newfound faith, an old friend gave me a Bible and I joined the local church and began to witness to all my old friends who began to fade away as time went on.

I remember going to a party one night, and sitting there they were passing a joint around and when I took it, I said to myself what am I doing here and so I left and began a new journey with Jesus.

Jesus had the same experience growing up as a young Jewish man leading a normal life until His time came to be introduced as the Savior of all mankind and appear to His peers as their Messiah. They were offended and questioned His miraculous transformation and His ministry as they will also do to you when you proclaim your supernatural entrance as a disciple of Christ.

“Now He did not do many mighty works there because of their unbelief.”Matthew 13:58
