FERRIS PUBLIC LIBRARY: More than Books (October 26, 2023)

Trick or Treat at the Ferris Public Library!

Before heading out on the town, drop by in costume for some fang-tastic trick or treating at the library. 

Story Time is hosted every Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. Children are treated to stories, fun activities, and a snack. Before leaving, your child may choose a prize from the Treasure Chest to take home. 

After-School Game Time is held each Thursday from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Children can play the PS5 on the large screen in the meeting room, board games are also available.

NEW BOOKS: “Good Bad Girl” by Alice Feeney, “Rock Bottom” by Fern Michaels, “Famous in a Small Town” by Viola Shipman, “Best Man Rancher: The Carsons of Lone Rock“ by Maisey Yates, and “Tangled Vines: Power, Privilege, and the Murdaugh Family Murders” (Dewey 364) by John Glatt.   

TODAY IN HISTORY: On Oct. 25, 1764, Abigail Smith married a young lawyer from Braintree (now Quincy), Massachusetts, by the name of John Adams, who would become, some thirty years later, the second president of the United States.
